I do have Bullseye, Clays, and Green Dot, but currently only 1lb of each while I have an 8lb jug of Unique. I am shooting out of a GP100 and SP101, so both .357 revolvers.

Well then you need to buy a gun/caliber that you can use all of the powder with. There's always a silver-lining!

8# of Unique at 5.7 gr per load = 9,824 reloads less whatever you've already loaded. Hopefully you're also loading something else.

You can also make sure you have a nice crimp on those loads as it helps ignite light loads better

Instead of going by what "WE" would do, take a gander at the various loading guides and decide for yourself

          Alliant's guide is at

          and Hodgdon's guide is at

You can decide for yourself what you want to do Hodgdon lists powder for their own as well as Winchester and IMR.

Rockdogz my Speer #13 manual states not to reduce Unique for 125 grain bullet below 5.7 grains which is max and min for the standard load. I load mine at a +P level, 6 grains, since I fire it out of a GP-100.

4.0gr Unique is low. That's more like a Bullseye recipe. Bump your charge up some, in accordance with your reloading manual. You *are* referencing a reloading manual, aren't you? If not, stop reloading immediately, go out and buy yourself one, and read it.

Every other recommendation that said "reference the reloading manual" is correct. I happen to like Lyman's Reloading Manual, 49th Edition, but other very good books also exist. Please, do this.
