    38S&W reloads?

So Yesterday I pickup an old S&W I-frame revolver in 38S&W. Its an old outdated cartridge but factory ammo can still be bought for it....kinda of. All the factory ammo is 357 sized bullet when the actual bullet size needed is more like 360. The small bullet does fire but you get less FPS and it leads up your bore.

I have only found one company that sells lead bullets in the correct size but they are flippin expensive at $21+shipping for 100. Anyone know where I could get some at a cheaper price?

Also what do you think about just use 9mm Makarov bullets and have a custom Lee sizing die made to .360. I'd only be squeezing .005 from the original size. The custom die would only cost me $50 and I could use readily available and cheap 9mm bullets. Will the resizer also work copper bullets if I wanted to load up some HP ammo?

Looks like the Makarov bullets are a no-go. They don't sell a heavy enough weight

Try castboolits website for a source of .360 bullets or a used mould --lyman 358385 is a 150gr round nose that casts large (360+) There are bound to be a peck of older 38S&W moulds available -----
A bore slugging might prove helpful to be sure of the needed diameter.
Sometimes regular 38spl cast bullets can be large enough if not sized and cake cutter lubed --
