Wrong Primer

How vital is it to match a primer on load data? I'm talking about the differences between manufacturers. I noticed that a recent load I started working on right out of the Sierra loadbook called for a Winchester primer instead of the CCI primer I was using.

Is this a no-no?

I'm no pro, but it shouldn't matter unless you're doing a absolute MAX load where the pressure differences from different primers become a concern.

A big no-no would be using a magnum primer when you're not supposed to.
