How short is too short? Due to an operator error, I now have a bunch of 308 brass cut 0.050" too short. It is 1.965". How bad is that?

270 Win. cases measure about .040" longer that 30/06 cases. My old 1970 old Speer manual suggested when resizing 30/06 cases to 270 Win. it would tend to increase throat wear(do to the .040" shorter cases).
In the newer Speer manuals in the 270 Win. Data page, they said the it doesn't make any practical difference when using 30/06 cases.
I would guess that shooting a 100 or so wouldn't hurt anything. -
I have measured once fired LC .308 brass at 1.950 before so I imagine you are still gtg.
.05ths is not much. Seat a bullet and measure OAL to verify.Comment
