    home made lead shot????

They sun's coming out, and the time has come to get back out on the trap range. Anyone here make their own lead shot? I can get lead wheel weights, and will even buy the shot, if it is at a decent price.

From what I've seen in the last month or so the best you can do on lead shot is buying reclaimed from Santa Rosa Lead.
If you can get a couple of tons of wheel weights lket's talk. I might just buy a shot machine.

At $45/bag (I know that's on the high side right now) this pays for itself in ten bags! I'm just not sure how good the shot will be but, it's been on my want list for some time.

I have the room if you want to buy the machine, supply the lead and figure out how we can arrange cheap shipping, I'd be up for doing the work. Unfortunately, I think that the distance is a deal breaker unless, you travel down this way often.

You don't have to get back with her just, her parents.

Like I said, if you have enough lead, I'll get the machine. I'll also make the shot and trade for the lead. Plus I'm in the east bay, norcal (no need to shout :<)
