    Wolf Ammunition SUCKS!

I have been waiting and waiting for a packet that was promised to me by Wolf Ammunition. In the packet was to be shipping tags for me to send back the empty boxes from the last batch of defective primers, and their guarantee says they would refund my money. I have traded emails and phone calls for quite some time now and now this morning I was told that unless I get a hazmat license and ship the primers back to them on my dime, they will not refund my money, or stand behind their guarantee. The cost of a hazmat license is more than the cost of the primers, so they know nobody is going to ship primers back, so now I'm stuck. I told them they need to take their guarantee off the web site and their packaging since it's no longer true. He said the guarantee now only applies to loaded ammunition. They no longer guarantee any of their components.

Wolf primers are all I can find right now... Is this pretty common with Wolf? I'm looking to pick-up a case of SP.

I have used them in the past without problem, but this latest batch is garbage. Average of 10% failure to fire.

Wow we have CCI SP primers sitting on the shelf here. I just bought a couple thousand no prob. Maybe I just hit it at the right time? Need to go today to pick up some LP.

Sounds like the problem I had with their small rifle primers. Do you have the lot number?

I was told early on that Wolf ammo was only good for throwing at the bad guy by hand. Never touched the stuff.

I get more FTFs and misfeeds with Wolf than with any other brand of ammo.

However, I've had very good luck with their LP Magnum primers. They're actually quite good...

I too hate thier ammo, but thier primer USED to be good. Not anymore I guess. And I will never buy Wolf again after they pulled this crap. I have the lot numbers at home. I can post them if you need them.

It would be interesting to see if its from the same lot I have or if its a wider problem.

I've just read and heard a lot of negative stuff about Wolf ammo and now with their primers. I'm glad I only bought CCI/Winchesters primers. That's a bummer ept000. I hope you can resolve this BS and get your $$ back. GL man.

Reconfirms why I won't use any of their centerfire ammo and ALMOST bought some of their primers but listened to that little voice in my head.

I have had pretty good luck with their match 22 ammo though, but it is brass cased with none of that stinky lacquer!

I have never had issues with wolf ammo or components. I use wolf .223 almost exclusive in one of my ar15 and it has worked flawless through it but my friends ar15 did not seem to like wolf cause it would get occasional jams. I also use wolf primers exclusively now due to the shortage. It was the shortage that led me to wolf primers and now that I have developed loads using them, I want to stick with wolf primers exclusively due to price and availability.

I think a lot of people are quick to blame wolf ammo or primers when it could of been user error or gun related problem instead of the ammo or components.

I will spare all the gruesome details but it's definitely not opperator or gun related. Even the guy at Wolf told me they changed thier primer cups, now they don't work. I have been using Wolf primers for years, and have loaded tens of thousands of them. They were good primers. Now this new batch sucks. I had some I pushed out of the cases and whacked them with a hammer and they still didn't go off. I can accept any company having a bad batch, but not standing behind their product, and leaving me holding the bag is what upsets me so much.
