    Ordering Ammo Online

    Hi,

Has anyone had any experiences with ordering ammo from
    www.a1ammo.com?

I've done a search on calguns and google and came up with nothing...I've even searched the better business bureau with no luck.

    Thanks!

the Better Business Bureau is a fraud. You get favorable reviews for being a part of the BBB.. but guess what? You have to pay a membership fee. They make it sound like they are some federal or state entity, but really they are just a business.

As for this merchant, they are verified with Authorize.net which means they have a legitimate business established. Just remember to use an actual credit card and not a debit card linked to some checking/savings so you can cancel charges if something goes wrong.

No ratings on Reseller ratings. Either the buyers don't really know about the site and don't post feedback, or they're relatively new, or something else.

Find the best stores, Read Real Customer Ratings and Write Reviews

I would also try doing a Google search about the store; see if you can find anything fishy, if at all.

I've already tried searching via Google...came up with nothing. I tried looking up their domain name and it's actually using a proxy, so I was not able to obtain a anme through that route too.

Might end up ordering 1 or 2 boxes of 50rds just to test them out before I move on a 1k order.

Any feedback on this vendor from Calgun members are greatly appreciated!

I grew up thinking the Better Business Bureau was an official government agency until I went to use them once and found out they are just business owners and don't have any real authority. It should be called Better Business Owners not Bureau.

The lead free Magtech 9mm is cheaper than Midways dealer price. I just ordered some from Midway earlier. Since they are in the midwest they most likely don't have a big demand for the lead free ammo. As for regular ammo them seem to be sold out of most stuff. They are probably a small operation.

I wouldn't go with it. Go with a reputable ammo dealer like:
              aimsurplus.com
              ammunitiontogo.com
              peachstateguns.com
              palmettostatearmory.com
              rmammo.com
              surplusammo.com
              cheaperthandirt.com

And there's more, just search a bit. The above are my go-to ammo vendors though.

None of their military surplus was in stock. No brown bear or wolf either. Looks like they only have premium ammo.
