    my apartment reloading setup

finally have a decent setup now that I have a bigger place!

BEFORE- so glad I can get rid of this!

bought it last night at lowes for 190, rug for 20 and some screws for the board
i was delayed since it was missing a bag of screws, but lowes took care of it well... went back and bought a fire exting and fire ladder i've been putting off

    KOBALT ITEM 2218 - 3 DRAWER WORKBENCH

added a supplemental light from STAPLES, TENSOR LAMP $20

        floures light
before drilling and mounting... my press is getting excited!

        AFTER

        SIDE VIEW - power plugs

i screwed in the board and mount and it's very stable. good thing is i can take the back pegboard and drawers out to lighten and move!
its about 46" wide and 36" deep, much more room than a flimsy pc cart
i was thinking about weighing it down with sandbags but thats probably not necessary

Wow, very nice. I don't see the point of both lights, but maybe you like a lot of light. I need to set up a desk to do my loading, for now I keep my stuff in a box and take it out when I need it.

Edit: Tip, push all the boxes and tools out of the way, and set your powder etc on it, then take off the paper with the tools on it, it'll look way better. But that's just me nitpicking lol

Do you prefer Jeppesen or NOS? Those look like Jep app. plates.

Nice set up! I store all of my bullets on the bottom shelf to add weight and stability.

Nice! I'm getting ready to move from a townhouse with a garage to an apt without in Sacto.. I see your setup and an angry wife in my future.

This is all on a desk I found next to a dumpster. I need a double garage to spread out a little more. I have half the room full of this stuff. Love it though, its a great hobby.

now that's efficiency! not a bad find
jeppessen is all i know, tho they supposedly easy to transition between.
chrisdesoup- its all good! we all know women secretly love that feeling of safety and security as a responsible gun owner
just realized there's no cross bar supporting the bottom sheet so ill look into that to make it a good place for storing lead
                        otherwise im happy!

I like the 2 lights - Give me more lux, and different types of bulbs, plus them daylight bulbs Makes for less shadows too.

As for the ergonomics of this bench setup, < a.k.a. "where do I put my knees?"> Maybe [I]my eyes are going faster than I thought /I], because as a long-legged, long-time reloader, I don't see where/how you can tuck in by the press. It doesn't take a chiropractor to wonder if you'll be able to find a good position to work at the bench; because this chiropractor hopes that you can sit for HOURS if you so desire - without needing to see one!

Years ago, my Lee reloading press was bolted to some old office desk that was literally crammed into a 4' x 8' shed; turned out some darn good loads there - nice and quiet. Sort of like ice fishing, if you ask me
