    Anyone have 5.7 x 28MM Reloading Recipes

Looking for recipes that have actually been used for the 5.7 x 28mm. Shooting a FNH Five-Seven.

Looking for Bullet Gr 40 or less and where to purchase them, Powder type (weight) and any special prep/care needed.

I have read that it is a touchy round any guidance would be helpfull.

    Thanks,
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

If I had a 57, I'd probably just shoot factory through it. Plenty of very experienced folks have blown up their pistols reloading for it. This pistol has no sense of humor.

The PS90 on the other hand, I reload for just fine. 50gr bullets and Blue Dot powder.

grammaton76 - I have heard the same thing, I am still debating about reloading this round.

Thanks bcrich & huckberry668 for the links.

Hornady and Lee. Stay away from RCBS.

is it worth it? Thinking of getting a PS-90, currently loading 223, 308, 6x45, 7.62x39, & 7.62x54r.... only use a RCBS Rockchucker and with Redding dies... the 5.7x28 looks so small and the powder variance is so marginal, do not know if I want to risk a $2000 gun

Never had a problem with reloads in this caliber, personally. I still would be extremely careful about the pistol, but the PS90 is relatively sturdy.

If you're not already a member of the FiveSevenForum, stop in there and sign up. There are a lot of folks there who will help you out. Another source for bullets is EA Ammunition; they make their own ammo for the 5.7 and thus have factory pull-off bullets in bulk -or- you can even buy some of their trident bullets.
