Looking to see if anyone has chronographed loads using Ramshot TAC with a 55 gr projectile. I just burned through an 8 lb keg of H335 and was thinking of switching to TAC for my next batch in hopes of gaining some velocity. Currently I'm getting about 2800 fps out of a 16" LMT MRP piston with a charge of 25.1 gr of h335. I'l be purchasing a lb or two of TAC to test out, I have seen a lot of TAC followers but not too much posted muzzle velocities with this powder. Any info would be appreciated.

I haven't loaded any 55gr with TAC, but I have loaded 62gr bullets with 24.5gr of TAC, and they chronoed at 2715fps out of a 16" barrel.I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show. -
With 55's might want to try X-terminator. TAC works better with 68-77gr.Luck favors the prepared.

This was out of a 16" CMMG barrel, temp was in the 90's that day. 10 shot groups.
