So I need to MIC some loaded rounds to find out what sized neck bushing I need for my Redding Die.
Where exactly do I MIC the case neck?
If I do it near the shoulder, it's of course slightly larger then near the case mouth. Tapers all the way up.
Also, what is the correct way to use a set of calipers? Do I apply pressure to what I'm measuring? What I've been doing is putting lots of initial pressure, then releasing and reading what the number is after I released and the material has expanded slightly.
Thanks Guys!
PS: My crappy LEE press came in today (it's a temporary until my Forster comes in off back order) so I just loaded my first batch of rounds! SO EXCITING!!!!!
