    Buying a reloading kit..

Hello all I'm about to buy my first bolt gun and would like to start reloading for it as well I'm currently looking at these two kits in no particular order

RCBS's rock chucker supreme master kit

and the redding versa pak reloading kit seen here on page 30 of their online catalog

what would you guys suggest to a reloading noob? I only plan to reload .308 for now but will eventually reload 338 lapua or 300 win ultra mag, the .308 is to be my starter bolt rifle. As always any and all advice is greatly appreciated. oh and what kind of dies should I get in .308 for a bolt action remmy 700?

I would recommend getting a manual 1st and read it. Lyman's 49th Edition Reloading Manual is a good read. As for the single stage presses (O frames) they are all about the same, just depends on how much you want to pay or what name brand you prefer, same goes for dies. If you want to save money on the dies, get Lee die sets.

Looks like a good kit, and should get you started with almost everything you need.
          Good luck!
