    Precision Bullets

New to the site and had a question. I need bullets for .45acp and 44 mag and happened upon the Precision Bullets website. Anybody here have and experience and/or comments about them?

    Thanks

No experience with Precision Bullets, but I use Bear Creek Bullets with great success. These are moly coated bullets and so no smoke, no leading, very accurate and cheaper than plated or jacketed bullets. Great bullet all around!

Here's the link to their site, if you want to order:

+1 on Bear Creek Bullets. Suppose to be similar to Precision. I was using Laser-Cast and now I am only using BC. I am using BC bullets with Win. WLP primers and Clays universal powder. I have found this to be a very clean combo.

CG'er Wulf turned me on to these bullets and primer. I am pretty sure that is all he is currently using also.

I have used Precision bullets for the past 3 years in .40 and .45. But rectenly swicthed to another supplier because for a cheaper cost when I buy in 5,000+
Precision bullets are great and the service is even better. The time on shipping is awesome and keeps me will informed.
I still buy my .38's from Precision though.

Have bought a few thousand 180 gr 40sw bullets from precision. I see no need for me to shop anywhere else. I love em.

I've used Dave Long's "Black" bullets for .40 S&W. The 185 grn for major, and the 155 grn for minor. I use the same charge weight for both and just swap heads depending on what I am shooting. There is a "little" leading, but never as severe as what you would experience in a .45 using exposed lead with a grease grove. Clean up is easy. +1 on Dave's service and loading advice. I would recommend Precision for all sub 1000 fps loads that do not go through a comp.
