Can data for jacketed bullet reloads be used for lead bullets of the same weight? thanks .

    No.
Lead data for lead, jacketed data for jacketed.

Generally not -- though for certain cartridges and lower velocites they can be about the same --

Up to a point you can but only use the minimum charge amount for the same bullet weight from a jacketed for lead. Assuming that you are referring to pistol bullets and not rifle.

Keep in mind too where you state lead, is it hard cast or swage? Because they have two different Brinnell hardness. The hard cast can be pushed a little faster than the swage.

RCBS and Lyman are just two manuals you can reference for lead bullet loads.

If you carefully peruse the manuals, lyman specifically, you will find many loads for both jacketed and lead bullets of the same weight to be in the same range -- And not just handgun/rifle cartridges. Obviously we are not talking about hi-power/hi-velocity loads which lead bullets are generally not suited. Most manuals presume a lead hardness consistant with lyman #2 mix.
