I was restoking my ammo stash a week ago and came across 2200 rounds of .308 packed in plain white 20 round packs with #80 on it. inside package there are slightly tarnished (mayby 10% of ammo have 3-4 1/16in brown spots). Head stamp: 80 at 6:00; T at 10:00, and Z at 2:00. Took it to the range and it perfirms exceptionally well, especially in my Vepr. Even with my sub-moa Rem. 700LTR I was able to print 1.1" 5 shot group at 100 yards. I've been told that this is Israeli mil surplus ammo, any truth to it? Is it available nowdays? I shot 200 rounds and tumbled cases in walnut media for 2 hours and they came out as shiny as new.
