      They should measure .357/.358"

I'm real sure you buckled the case by overcrimping.

        AR15 Stuck Cases

Thanks J-Cat. Should there be any crimp?

If your bullets have a cannelure, crimp into the groove, but not heavily.

If your bullets do not have a cannelure, don't crimp.

Cases are annealed until about 1/3 of the way down from the case mouth. The annealed part is softer than the bottom part. When you overcrimp, the case body collapses just behind the shoulder. When that happens, the case body expands about half an inch south of the shoulder. Think of it as an accordion, but invisible to the naked eye. If a case expands .005" in that area, you'll stick it.

Just remember not to take your AR to a reenactment. We don't need to actually kill Yakees (yet).

Readjust your dies. I had that problem when I first started reloading waaaay back. I couldnt full length the cases so I "half" length sized the brasses My brass would get stuck in the chamber so I had to use a rubber mallet to hit the charge handle. After a while I figured its because the base isnt fully sized, so I finally gave in and lubed each cases and fully sized the brass. After that, the issue was absent. That was........20k ag? haha

Anyways, screw the die in all the way until it touches the shell holder, back it up 1/4-1/2 turn (depending on our manufacture) and set the dies. That should make it fully lenght. Given that you bought FL dies not NS.

What barrel are you using?? if factory ammo is sticking in it sounds like a tighter than factory spec chamber, if it is reloads you are not sizing your cases down enough, try getting some lee dies and size them using imperial sizing wax.. you should adjust your dies down to the point where they are touching your shell holder when the ram is all the way up and then bring the ram down adjust the die a 1/4 turn further in so your press will slightly cam over when your sizing your cases..
