I tried to order a DPMS upper from them and they wouldn't ship it, a perfectly *LEGAL* item to possess in CA. I talked to their online support and they stated that DOJ told them not to ship "assault weapons" stuff to CA. I try not to support companies that just roll over for the stupid laws we have here in CA. Oh and they are not that cheap.

Georgia Arms http://georgia-arms.com/762x39.aspxOver five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel , "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."
Nearly 75 years ago (when Welfare was introduced) the democrat party said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land."
Now obama and the dems have stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels,
and mortgaged the Promised Land!Comment

You might find dirt cheaper, but not Lake City XM193...........CTD can have the lowest price.
This is an excellent "aggregate" site: http://www.ammoengine.com/find/ammo/...sort=1&group=2 easy to sort by maker, grains, bullet-type....and has direct links to the vendor (CTD, Cabelas, Sportsmans, Grafs, AmmoBank, Wideners) and lists cost per round before shipping.Last edited by killshot44; 06-22-2010, 1:26 AM.Comment

I'm not sure what everyone's problem with CTD is but I have bought ammo from them... BVAC to be specific. I found the whole interaction to be quite pain free. I bought it along with some other tactical gear that I needed and received it within the week. Maybe they wont ship certain parts to cali but I guarantee thats not because they want to make your life harder or dont want your business. Rather they do want your business, they are after all in the field of MAKING MONEY. Their reasons for not selling certain items to cali is most likely done in terms of self preservation. They don't wanna get reamed for selling you something that could turn around and bite them in the behind later. B/C that will COST THEM MONEY. And as mentioned above they are in the business of MAKING money. So all in all I think that a lot of you guys really need to tone down your anger in this respect and others along the same lines and look at the underlying reasons for their actions. Stop thinking that it is just cus the company has a personal vendetta against you and the cali gun owners, cus thats just silly.
Back to CTD... The ammo I got was cheap and YES I would buy from them again. Good deals, got it in a timely fashion, got exactly what I ordered, painless process from start to finish.WTS: Midwest Industries ERS Flip-up rear sight, UTG mid-length Quad RailComment

MasterCast Bullet Co. in Enon Valley, PA is good. MidwayUSA and Cabela's have some deals sometimes, which makes them good.
But it's really better to learn to reload your own. Feb 2011 is not that far away...."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"
