Lee Broken Decapper Clamp

Hi Folks,

I was replacing my decapper pin and clamp after removing a stuck casing. I placed the pin and clamp back into the die and tightened it down and it sheared off the clamp at the top face of the die! I contacted Lee and they will only send me clamp and pin but I've been unable to remove the remaining portion of the clamp out of the die. Any thoughts on how to get this out?

Is the pin still in place? I would think if the pin is out you could use an ez-out to remove the remaining portion of the clamp as you call it.

Well I got the decapper clamp out. I reamed the broken part with a drill bit and then it released enough pressure for me to get the broken section of the clamp out with a flathead screwdriver.

In the meantime I bought an RCBS die set and I personally think it is better quality than the Lee stuff. My two cents.
