Need Help Identifying Crimped Primer Pockets in 9mm

Here are some brass I have collected over the past years in anticipation that I would start reloading one day. I need some help identifying crimped primer pockets in some 9mm brass I just tumbled. It appears that some of the brass has a slight bevel in the primer pocket shoulder area while some are somewhat more squared in pocket area. I purchased a Hornady primer pocket reamer and I was planning to chuck it into my RCBS Trimmate and just ream out all the pockets regardless of whether it is crimped or not when I prep my brass. Would I weaken the primer pocket area if I reamed it out if it is not crimped? I should add that I used a Hornady primer pocket cleaner when I prepped the brass. Also, I tried seating some spent primers and they seem to seat fine but it might not be representative of seating new primers. Still awaiting my primer order to be shipped. I may look into swager in the future, especially if I start reloading rifle.

    Thanks for any advice.

The only crimped 9mm I've seen is mil surplus and, that's not very common around here. Chances are that you will not ever have to worry about primer pocket crimps in 9mm brass.

WCC brass is pretty much the only crimped brass you'll encounter, but in the images above it looks like the WCC brass has already been swaged/reamed.

With most of my CCI SPP's I can get them to go into WCC. If I cannot get it to go in I just toss those into the recycle bin of brass I have near my bench.

gose nailed it though, all of those WCC's have been de-swaged already.

Next time I run a batch of 9s, I'll have to take a look. I've never had a problem loading mixed headstamp, range pickup 9mm before. Thanks for the heads up.

Most of the brass with the NATO Cross I have encountered have been crimped.

Here's how they look before reaming like the ones the op has. I have some Federal as well as the Winchester.

Damn now I need to go out and get a primer pocket reamer, I have noticed that I have quite a few with the NATO marking now. After taking a look at my latest WWB marked 10 on them they have the NATO marking too. O well just spent 15 on something I should have anyways.
