    QUICKLOAD...

    it just arrived last night

    now it's time to get through the 120 page manual

    so far it looks very interesting, i should be able to get a PhD by the time i get to understanding it all...

      Yep, although their shipping is kind of pricey... i should have tried to pick up a copy in person- they're not too far away.

        It's not that difficult. I get the most use out of it when comparing different powders or using the barrel timing feature to get me quickly in the ballpark for my accuracy node.

          I never read the manual.
          Just fool with it.
          Start by digging through your old notes of loads and chrono data.
          Simulate those old loads including temperature and see how close you end up to the actual velocity measurements you took.

              In the propellant setup window, there is a little button that let's you toggle edit mode on and off.
              When you are in edit mode, a thermometer appears to the left of the charge weight.

                    No... I didn't know there were any cartrige drawings. Are they in QuickDesign? I haven't tried QD yet.

                      quickload has drawings, quickdesign let's you draw cartridges.
                      Just below the cartridge selection drop-down box In ql is a little icon.
                      Click that icon.
