    Harrell's Powder Measures

I'm contemplating on pulling the trigger (pun intended) on a Harrell's Schuetzen Pistol Measure. I know that it is a quality piece, but they are a bit pricey. But as I have a fascination for all things mechanical, I'm really having a hard time not letting my money burn a hole in my pocket.

So does anybody have one? Do you like it? Overrated? Discuss...

I have one, and it's no more accurate/consistent than my Redding Benchrest measures. If anything, it takes a bit more "technique" to throw consistent charges.

They're built like tanks though, and the ball-bearings make it sooooo easy to operate. The click-to-set metering assembly makes it super-easy to repeat your weight settings without spending a bunch of time missing your target by a tenth or two grains over and under.

I had a harrell , I have tested all the powder measures I could get my hands on . to include the Harrell ,lyman#55,rcbs litlle dandy, the uniflow, rcbs chargemaster ,one from lee and the old belding and mull .
the harrell while it was nice the belding and mull and the uniflow both threw more consistant charges . the uniflow is easy to use but the belding and mull is better for long stick powders and any of them that kinda of pack , in other words if the uniflow wont throw to the conisitantly i want the belding and mull comes out but is more labor intensive to use.
