I've been thinking of doing a group buy in the Orange County area. Anyone interested? Jeff ships up to six jugs on a single hazmat ($20) so a full order would cost $91.33 per eight pound jug plus shipping. If there's any interest I'll start taking orders next week.

I bought some of the WC846 from GIbrass.com. Pat's reloading has it for a tad more money now (99.95/8#) but they also have both flavors of it. The stuff sold by GI brass was meant for lighting tracer so it's a bit more blasty. Pat's also sells the non-tracer stuff which has some kind of a coating that prevents the flash. If I were to get more of this stuff, I'd opt for the stuff from Pat's as the flashy stuff I have can get annoying. I was using it for my 308 with 125's and we're talking massive fireballs from this stuff.

About how many rounds does 8lbs do? ...for 5.56 military loads that is.

                  7000 grain/lb of powder.
If you load 26gr/rd for 223, you get about 2150 rds/8lb jug.

So over 2000 rd per 8lb-jug
