    American tactical?

Anyone ever shoot this stuff? Made in turkey, boxer primed, brass case, non corrosive........... can't figure out why its so cheap. Is it steel core like wolf or brown bear? It seems like a decent price and then maybe ok to reload?

Bought 200 rounds of this for my CETME. Had one round fail to fire (dud primer), but other than that, excellent. Groups very well; very good quality brass. One of the best deals around for new ammo IMO (08-09 headstamp).

I'm not sure what problems the other people were having. I placed 120 rounds of this through my FNAR today. Three different shooters. I had failure to feed issues with one magazine. My son loaded that one and the rounds were not fully seated to the rear of the magazine. A quick tap and rack and I was back in business. Accuracy was everything I expect from NATO spec ammo. Easy to keep inside a two inch circle, challenging to keep inside a one inch circle. I had no failures to fire or failures to ..

Purchased a new SOCOM16 & then purchased 500 rds of this Ammo & 500 Rds of the POF. The American Tactical was packaged nicely in individual boxes of 20 & was very clean & shiny but the POF was 500Rds loose in a box & GRUNGY. Have cycled close to 150-200 rds of the POF w/o any issues but: Have yet to be able to load a 10 rd mag w/ the American Tactical & get more than 1-3 rds to fire & Eject w/o a jam. I mean JAM. This is horrible ammo & I will try to sell at a loss to recoup some of my mo..

At first it appearead as quality ammo. The cases even have annealed necks. Accuracy was good, but nothing special. However, one out of every 10 would get stuck in the chamber of my Remington 7600 pump. I only imagine what a PITA it would be in a semi-auto. Would not buy this brand again.

We shot about 200 rounds of American Tactical last weekend and I had a total of 1 failure to fire.

Maybe I got a new batch? Not sure but for the price I can handle 1 FTF.

I bought some of the .308 stuff. Shot as well as American Eagle or PMC and I have been reloading the cases. My latest batch is on it's 3rd reload. If you're looking for cheap brass .223 or .308 it's a good choice.

thanks guys, I did read the reviews but sometimes you can't trust them. Kind of just wanted to hear calgunners personal experiences. I want to get into reloading so Hoops answer was pretty much what I was looking for.
