    It says here that it is rated for +P but they dont mention the year. I cant see a gun being produced not being +P then making it +P rated later in its production life. To be sure, a call to Taurus might be the thing to do. http://www.snubnose.info/docs/M85.htm

      Thanks, I got smart finally and just called Taurus..
      Its a good thing, mine is a 1989 model and they were NOT +P rated..
