Once Fired 40sw brass problems! NEED HELP!

I have a Dillon 550B progressive press and am having some problems with the first station(sizing-depriming die). Some of the brass after going thru this station are still bulged 1/8 from the bottom of the casing. I have spent hours trying to adjust this die. Dillon tells me that this is the nature of the 40sw brass as the wall are too thin for some of the loads put thru them. I have ground down the outer ring on the die to try and let the die travel futher, but still 3-5 out of 50 not fitting in my test cylinder. Put in a new die from Dillon, still having issues. If anyone else has had this problem or has any suggestions I welcome any help I can get. I have had no such issues with 9mm or 45.
Thanks for your help in advance

Lee makes a custom die in both 9mm & 40S&W that sizes further down. I have them both, works great on Glocked brass. It's called a "U" die.

Take a look at this from Redding. Sounds like it is what you need.

I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show.

I got some "Glocked" brass a while back, my Dillon 650 was able to re-size it just fine. Good luck.

I use the Redding G-Rx die. The case is pushed all the way through so there is no more bulge at all.

Hey there rockman, I have a seperate tool head and lee carbide die on my xl650 that I use to re-size all of my 9mm. Most semi-auto pistiols like Glock, S&A XD, P99 and such have unsupported chambers which cause slight bulging. I am not sure if you have a casefeeder or not but that helps a bunch there. I read on another post that some people have actually trimmed off a portion of a Dillon decap and re-size die so that it would do a better job.

The way I do it takes a little more time, but since I started doing that I have had no problems. Beats sending your brass to someone that rolls them or does the same thing I do on a 650 with casefeeder.

Hope you get it worked out soon,

              -Gio

First off, are you using the full length resizing die from dillon?

Also, are you sure your die set is adjusted properly?

Lastly, the "glock bulge" can be a PITA. I finally broke down and purchased the ERW undersizing die for 40S&W. After a little tuning, I no longer worry about the round not fitting in my chamber.

This might be what you need.

Luckily I read about this problem before reloading .40. And read that this was the solution
So far 99% of all my reloads are making it through
