V-max penetration info

anyone have any?
I am wondering how different they are from Hollow Points, or even regular ammo.

I found some videos of v-max vs. watermelon but that doesnt do me much good...

there was a picture of 40-55-60 gr v max in .223

I think the 40 was 6" the 55 was 8" and the 60 was 10"+

40gr V-max's are the most accurate 223 bullet I have ever shot and they are absolutely devastating to little critters. Rabbits just exploded like someone shoved a M80 up their butt. Very impressive.Just make sure you have a 1-9 or slower twist barrel for them or they will vaporize after they leave the barrel

well thats enough to get me to buy some.. what grain?

I was shooting them with a 55gr. from my remington 22-250. That is being pushed out with 34.6 grains of varget powder reaching about 3,500 fps. I love the v-max bullets and through observations with sierra hollow-points these perform much better. But this is just from my observations.

slim that was a good read.. it gave me some info and stuff to think about., I got the 55gr. so we'll see
