Components in Sacramento

Just getting into reloading here, and need to pick up some powders and primers etc. I figure it'll probably be cheaper to get them in person than pay the haz mat fee since I'll only be buying a pound or two of powder.

Anyone know of good locations to get powders and primers?

Also, what kind of bullets should I start out with? Should I buy a powder and pick my bullet off of the load data available for that powder or what?

Good luck with the primers, been looking myself. There gone within minutes of being online, for your regular 9mm, 357, .40, 45. If u have guns that take off bullets, shouldn't be a problem. If anyone knows where to get primers for .40cal please post!

Cordova guns had some stuff in stock, but no bullets, and very little powder, so I put up with the drive and went to sportsman's warehouse...it's amazing there lol

I was at Sportsman's on Wednesday. Some of their powder was on back order and their bullet selection was spotty at best. In other words, they were out of a lot of components. I've been there when they first opened, before the country went nuts and started buying up pretty much everything out there... and it's impressive when they're fully stocked!

I have some reloading stuff put together now, but I need more stuff... and I'm on my way to assembling the rest of what I need.
