hello, have heard multiple times that the steel cases cannot be reloaded, but no one has been able to tell me why. I would appreciate knowing the answer if anyone cares to enlighten me.

steel case reloading

Most steel case are Berdan Primed. That means the anvil is built into the case and has two flash holes compared to Boxer primed cases which the anvil is put into the primer instead of the case. Also, the Boxer primer has one flash hole in the center.
Some steel cases though are Boxer primed and you can reload those, but they are harder on your dies and tools.
Hope it helps.Originally posted by GottmitunsIt's not protecting the rights of the 1%, it's IMPOSING new laws because of the 1%. -
