Walmart ammunition in Simi Valley, LOADED

Walked into the simi walmart and almost tripped when I saw almost full display cases of ammo, lots of everything.

Any .22. Last time I was there they had a boatload of .223 but not much of anything else. Im not even waiting for a reply, Im on my way to check.

I may be using the credit card after work today, hopefully there will be some .40 left when I get there!

I just got back and I must say it looked nice seeing all that ammo, They had all kinds of .223 Winchester, Remington, and Federal. Lots of 9mm(100+ 50rd boxes) I didn't recognize the brand though. For .22 they had mini mags, Stingers, and Federal Automatch 325rd (this is what I grabbed, Still about 9 left) No .40, I asked and he said they didnt get any in.

Chances are they'll be out of .22 by the next time I find myself in Simi, but it's nice to see they've actually got some, should be a sign of good things to come. It sucks, now that I reload, I have to ration out .22 because I can make anything else I need, I'll blast away all day with the .44, but get stingy with .22.

They are already out of bulk pack .22LR. The dept. manager said they went through 30 cases in just a couple days They did have some more premium .22LR as well as .22Mag.

I did grab 300 rounds of Federal .223 while I was there just because. There was no .40, only premium .45ACP, but a ton of affordable RWS 9mm.

Interestingly, the manager told me that they've been able to keep a regular supply of .223 recently. They had Federal @ $40.00/100, Remington @ $26.00/50 (or $9.97/ 20) and I think some PMC as well. Plenty of other rifle calibers in decent stock. I though I was going to get light headed seeing so much ammo in one spot.
