Giraud Power Trimmer - Review

Received my Giraud Power Trimmer last week.

I must say that it lives up to the hype.
If any one is on the wall about it make the jump.

The trimmer is very well made i was impressed with its construction, Performance and even packing... lol

The trimmer ran surprisingly quiet i am used to the other louder trimmers and by far this is the quietest i have seen. The trimmer adjustment is pretty good you can fine tune it to the exact length you want.

the deburing and cut is awesome can't say anything more.

the unit is kinda pricy but i feel it is worth it after using it.
There is a back order and they say 3weeks to shipping mine turned out to be more like 2weeks.

The people selling the product are very nice i dealt with Margarette mostly.


I liked it so much i built a little rolling cart for it over the weekend. lol....

yes it works great. i bought mine late last year, and have not used it much, but am hearing some bearing noise.

whats the price on those bad boys. do you need to buy additional cutters for every cal?

humm i dont remember the actual price its up on his site.
But i spent $525 with shipping with the unit, 2 cutters and 2 holders (223 & 308)

You dont need 2 cutters you can adjust them but this way i can jsut swap them and not have to play with them once i get them where i want them

buy the different cutters. its truly the best way to easily changer calibers without dicking around

I agree - buy the extra cutters preset for the calibers. Even if you start with just getting the tool one cutter and one holder getting cutters and holders in a set for each caliber moving forward is the way to go. Switching is so much easier.

Excellent trimmer. I have one myself. I would never consider selling it.

I gotta get one of these soon, trimming/chamfering/deburring is by far the worst step of the whole process for me right now. The RCBS Chargemaster Combo took care of the other lol...

My buddy has one I get to use for free. It is a must have and I have to go out of my way to be nice to him so I can keep on using it. I can't imagining trimming/deburring/chamfering any other way.
