Anyone info on Golden Tiger 7.62x39

AIM Surplus and several others have Golder Tiger 7.62x39 for about 150.00 for 1000 rounds. The ads all say they are made from "Vympel" of Russia and "124grn Lead Core FMJ, Non-corrosive. Has anyone bought and shot this stuff or have any experience with it?

Who did you buy it from and what was the total, with shipping?

Probably bought from AIM. But what is the shipping to here? Miwall wants $200 + tax for a case of Wolf. That is the bench mark to get under.

I buy from AIM all the time. Shipping for 1000 .223 rounds is about $20 to NH. 980 rds of .308 was about $30. But Ohio to NH is only like 750 miles. So my guess shipping to CA would be about $35-$40 for 1000 AK rounds.

You can check the freight from AIM's web site before confirming the order. My freight for 7.62x25 ammo to CA:
            1,224 rounds = $31
            2,448 rounds = $45

I shot up about 500 rounds of the stuff through my AK without a hiccup. Shoots decent, makes for a fun cleaning session.
