    .40 recipe for USPSA shooting?

I'm looking to find a new recipe for .40 to shoot USPSA with.I'm looking for a load that I can fire from a Glock 27 and a Sig Sauer P229.I shoot the glock and My son shoots the Sig.
I was shooting a 140 grain lead round nose flat point, with 6 grains of unique, seated to 1.120. This load was 1050 fps average over about 10 shots.
Now I'm looking to shoot 180 grain flat points.I have plenty of unique,so thats what I'm using.
I just loaded up some and went out and test fired. They were pretty HOT.So I need a better load recipe.
The hot ones were 5 grains of unique,180 gr FP.also seated to 1.120, IDK how fast these loads are but the felt recoil is pretty nasty.
any better experienced loaders care to share a more tame load?
    Thanks

    You're Welcome..
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
