Is it possible to make 8x56R ammo? I really don't want to buy ammo that is older then a few years. How can I go about it? I was thinking someone could do it.

I have shot 8x56 surplus dated before WWII. Some of the best shooting surplus I've bought. However that was about 3 years ago. Now the surplus is getting very scarce and pricey. Reloading it isn't any harder than reloading other calibers. Graf's and sons has all the components. You can also resize 7.62x54r brass if you want. The nice thing about reloading is that you will be able to load much lighter than surplus. The surplus steyrs kick like a mule.Originally posted by AJAX22Being law abiding doesn't mean you have to get down on all fours and bleat like an ewe. -

Yeah, you can use 7.62x54 brass and switch out the expander ball to a .329 diameter.Comment

since it looks like prvi is finally making them, they might get cheaper?Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... Not ordering from those clowns again.Originally posted by PrepperGunShopTruthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats ... What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).Comment
