    8x56R ammo

Is it possible to make 8x56R ammo? I really don't want to buy ammo that is older then a few years. How can I go about it? I was thinking someone could do it.

I have shot 8x56 surplus dated before WWII. Some of the best shooting surplus I've bought. However that was about 3 years ago. Now the surplus is getting very scarce and pricey. Reloading it isn't any harder than reloading other calibers. Graf's and sons has all the components. You can also resize 7.62x54r brass if you want. The nice thing about reloading is that you will be able to load much lighter than surplus. The surplus steyrs kick like a mule.

Yeah, you can use 7.62x54 brass and switch out the expander ball to a .329 diameter.
