Yes, the Dillon Super Swage does allow you to reload brass with crimped primer pockets.

But crimped primer pockets have nothing to do with whether a primer is Boxer or Berdan.

Wow, the Dillon 650 is pricey. How much are the single presses and which is a good one?

If you want one to go clear up to 50BMG you can get the RCBS Ammomaster, Hornady's got one and so does Lee. All can be set up to do smaller rounds (like 308 or 223) as well. Lee is the cheapest but you have to use Lee's dies for the 50 but you can use any dies for the other stuff. The RCBS or Hornady's press will use anyones dies for all calibers but cost a little more. If you want to do the 50BMG I would get a press kit that includes the dies for 50BMG and then get what is needed for the smaller calibers too. You can load smaller calibers on a press for the 50BMG but not all press will load the 50BMG.

Spend the money, it's worth it! I'm eyeing a 1050, might put the 650 up for sale if that's the case. In the meantime, if you want to get the conversion stuff, you can use my press to reload your rifle calibers; I've only got pistol stuff setup.

650 is the way to go Auto -indexing is the nuts
Get the case feeder and lots of primer tubes
800 rounds per hour is easy to achieve
The only trouble is having enough brass, bullets & powder handy to sustain the loading once you get going.
The No BS warranty is the best around
And for $30 they'll overhaul your reloader for you and replace worn parts
            Dillon is the best!

here's a pic of my brass, IMI vs. portugese. Note the anvil on the berdan primer. Conversion can be done but it's a lot of work. Someone posted a link on 7.5Swiss brass conversion a while back. Look for a post by tteng.

Instead of buying new another option is searching the boards for a used one. Saves you a couple hundred.
