Steel case doesnt make things less safe. Its just most wolf is Berdan so you would have to modify the case. But with 1k brass cases going for less than $50 now why bother with steel.

My only concern would be steel to steel contact possibly causing a spark.

You will not get that with brass.

Some Wolf (.223 for example) is boxer primed. Chief reloaded some with decent results once. Personally, I wouldn't bother.

I reloaded wolf with good results also (boxer) got 5 reloads before I got a split in the neck out of 100 or so rounds. Tossed them all out, haven't reloaded anymore but if you ever run out of brass you can reload the boxer wolf steel case crap! You can feel the difference when you trim and when you resize it.

                    I wouldn't risk it...

seems like a waste of time / Not saying that it can't be done

steel case ammo is for emergencies only. scenarios like this usually mean not having enough time to grab the spent brass on the ground because you're too busy running from the zombies....

Yeah, I want to know too!

I have reloaded steel cases before and they are okay. I think case prep takes alot more out of the tools then brass. You can feel it. Luckly I purchased Boxer primed wolf so I didnt have to modify anything. Shoots 1.7" MOA compared to my brass at 1.25" with one of my AR. Still better then factory ammo...but I dont reload steel past 3x before thossing them.

I have never tried reloading steel, it is not as forgiving as brass, but I have converted berdan to boxer. It is a time consuming procedure but you only have to do it once. I do it for my K31 7.5 x 55 ammo. The GP11 factory brass is match grade and is a shame to throw out. So far I have reloaded about 25 rounds and fired them off once, I will shoot them a second time this weekend.

I almost think I'd rather reload berdan brass than steel cases...

                              but that's just me...
