Does anyone know of any safety issues with storing ammo loose like in an ammo can? My precision stuff goes in ammo boxes that keep each bullet held separate but for the .223 I am loading which is just for plinking I planned on storing it in a surplus ammo can.

I keep my plinking ammo loose in ammo cans. I have 50 cal ammo can full of 223 and 9mm. Never had a problem with them.
For my match ammo, I keep them in the original box or plastic ammo boxes.Comment
