I was just curious what you guys average as far as no go for brass you are prepping. Right now I have been reloading bulk .223 brass I got from the del mar gunshow. I am averaging around 10% failing for some reason or another either case damage or other issues.

Igot some that had dented mouths, the resizing die would crush them. I sorted them and took an empty of powder loaded round and by hand inserted into mouth and was able to recover 85% of those. Ymmv and obviously if it had a crease no go. Play with it.sigpic

Nothin like that for me just a few that had gouges into the side of the case that was more then I was willing to reload. Then I have had some that have had their head torn during priming in the press so i think there was already some dmg to their heads.Comment
