1st 20 reloads. what did i do wrong?

BTW2: my Hornady manual indicates 9mm headspaces on the case mouth so light to no crimp, and the max load for their bullets is 5.2 grains. Makes me glad I chose rifle cartridges to learn how to reload!

Headspacing on the case mouth does not mean light or no crimp. It means taper crimp rather than roll crimp. Too light a crimp and you will get setback when load strikes the feed ramp or creep in the magazine from recoil.

Actually that's almost right out of the manual, wouldn't have come to that conclusion by myself. It's on the .45 Auto description too. Maybe it depends on the dies that are used?
