Sellier and Bellot .308 Win any good?

It's cheap enough, is it good enough to hunt with? They claim to OEM for large US manuf orders.

never tried the .308....but I like the 9mm and 00Buck well enough. What's the damage these days for 1K rounds?
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....

2.)Why is it that if guns are sooooo unsafe that you're 9 times more likely to die at the hands of your doctor?
3.)Remember...Buy it cheap & stack it deep

It works just fine. I have 600 rounds of the stuff. $9.95 at Sportsmans Guide per box of 20 for the 147 grain if you are a member.

I've never hunted with it, but it cycles great in my M1A.

S&B is some of my favorite ammo. It's cheap (well not anymore, 9mm is up $4 a box since early December) and feeds well in all of my guns.

Midway has some white-box Winchester 7.62x51 on sale - $99 for 200 rounds, 147gr FMJ, normally $130. Dunno much about it but its price seems to be on the order of the S&B:

yeah, makes you wonder why people would pay ~$60 for a battle pack of SA surplus when you can get factory ammo at $10 per 20.

You can fool some of the people some of the time . . . . but there is a sucker in every crowd.
Having said that I still won't buy Wolf steel.
