I would contact Lee about it. Why would you want to? I seen the older turret presses with 3 holes for sale for pretty cheap online. Might as well just pick one of those up IMHO. -
I'm just curious for efficiency sake. For loading 9mm I heard that the Factory Crimp Die is not necessary.Help fix the For Sale section of Calguns.Comment

don't know about 9mm, but I just finished loading 1200 rounds of .40 and the crimp is very important. I tried to skip the crimp part when I first started reloading back in the days, I remember the ramp pushed the bullet into the case. Not a good thing. I know, I know I was waiting for someone to say that.Yes, that is easily accomplished by using 3 dies only (and ignoring the empty hole).
Since there doesn't appear to be a way.. let's kill this thread.

all you need is the three die turret. they are around 8 bucks through natchez shooters supplies. you can change the indexing rod too if you want but wasnt necessary for me. 9mm doesnt need a firm crimp but it does need some. i prefer the factory crimp die. i get great results with it. you can use the seating die and get a crimp with it too but you can control the crimp much better with the FCD.Comment
