    Pulling Wolf ammo

Since the weather is bad here in Sunny CA, I decided to do some needed work in the shop. I recently purchased back an M1 Carbine from a buddy who I had sold it to last year. With it came 1000 rds of Wolf 30 Carbine ammo. I offered it to a guy at the local gunshow for $200 a case, and he declined(he wanted to think about it).
I decided I wasn't going to put that stuff through any of my Carbines, and decided to pull the bullets for use in reloading my reloadable Carbine brass.
So far this afternoon, in the past 3 hours, I have pulled 400 rds, saving the bullets and the powder. This is what I have found so far.
Powder weight is approx. 13.2 gr. charcoal grey/black fine granular powder. Bullet weight seems a little on the light side. I wieghed 5, 2 at 107.5 gr, 2 at 107.2, and 1 at 106.9 gr. But that is within USGI specs(111 gr - 3 gr and 108 gr - 3 grains). Bullet is shaped slightly different. Most USGI and commercial stuff I have dealt with is round nose. This stuff has more of a conical shape, similar to the old 9mm Lugar bullets. Maybe it is a European design thing.
Neck tension varied a great deal, some bullets were very difficult to pull, and some felt like they were only in finger tight.
Anyway, when I get done, I can load up my 3 lb coffee can full of brass, and I will have some nice new boxes to put the ammo in for storage.

I would have just sold it or traded it to someone here on Calguns. IMHO

But I can understand someone not wanting to shoot it through some guns.

Wolf is not a good round. I dislike it very much, No offense but mif slim your the first person I've seen or heard that likes wolf. Not downing you or anything, just stating that.

What is wrong with Wolf? I have used plenty of it in my AR, my friends Mac-11 clone and AK's. Show me stats and or guns that have been meesed up due to using Wolf. By the way I ran 500 rounds of Wolf in one afternoon in my LWRC M6A2 upper I had. I still will use Wolf, not as my first option since I am now starting to reload my own .223 and there is no real savings in paying 5 cents more for .223 that is not reloadable, so yeah.

My AR does OK with wolf...

I don't see anything wrong with it for a plinking round at all.
