depends on what your after. Neck size only dies sizes......the neck only.

Usually neck sizing helps out bolt action in accuracy. The first time fired brass expands to fill the chamber, once it fills the chamber and reloaded with just the neck sized pressure will be more consistent then the entire brass expanding to fit the chamber. This makes for more "accurate" ammo for bolt action. But be aware that this will only fit your chamber. Or if you picked someone elses brass...it might not fit your chamber. Use the Fullneck the first reload, then you can use the neck size for the rest.

Wont be good for autoloader if you ever want to use it for that..but a .303 dont have any autoloader do they? hehe.

I neck size my 303 brass to help with the case life, I was amazed at how much the shoulder moved after firing new brass in my enfield.

I reload 8mm and neck size my brass. As others have mentioned it might improve accuracy and it does extend case life. When you neck size the brass it can only be used in the bolt action rifle it was fired from. I use a Lee Collet Die.

Yes, I neck size my .303. As stated above, keep track of which rifle the brass came from, and only use in that rifle.
Don't waste $ on a neck sizing die, if you are already using a F/L die, simply adjust it until you are no longer contacting the case shoulder.

+1 to Artkat -- 303's have such sloppy chambers - at least all mine did - that case life can be vastly improved by neck sizing only - No sense squeezing all that brass down only to blow it out again. Try it by backing your die off as suggested, you'll like it -- my ha-penny

Neck size for .303 is the way to go. It will greatly improve your brass life, and can't hurt accuracy either.
