Spend a little more and get the RCBS chargemaster combo. Natchez usually has the lowest price.

I did a bunch of research prior to buying. The two most common things I found peeps complain about in elec scales were failure to hold zero and turn themselves off to quickly. I chose the Brian enos recommended scale both for price and features. This is made by a well regarded company; while not the top of the line it's still pretty good...particularly for the price. Doesn't turn off very often, and holds zero throughout a reloading session with one exception. I reload in the eve usually, out in the garage. Once it reaches the point where it rapidly starts to cool off outside and humidity starts to rise the scale will get a couple tenths off. This is common to all digital scales to some extent, and it's mainly my fault for having the garage door open to enjoy the fresh air instead of maintaining a controlled environment. I don't have to calibrate it when this occurs, just turning it off/on and allowing it to re-zero itself works great. The free powder funnel is a great quick check, mine weighs 94 grains.

        DO NOT BUY A PACT!!

I dunno what/how others work, but the Pact that I have had for a number of years is a real POS and the company does not stand behind their product.

I currently use a beam scale because I was so frustrated with the Pact and cannot trust it. Trust is the most important thing with a scale.

So many things went wrong with it...
Can't run flourescent lighting, wireless phones and non-dedicated electrical plugs are among the issues. Pretty much got a "too bad" from the factory when complained.

I have a RCBS Chargemaster Combo and the scale that comes with it is pretty good. I prefer my 1010 over it but I am just old school. I also have a couple of 510's as well as a Lee that I got from one of our fellow Calgunner's here for $10.00 - what can I say, I was curious due to all the arguements about how good / bad it is on all the forums.

Go to MidwayUSA.com, Cabelas.com, BassPro.com, etc. and read the reviews.

I have the Lyman 1000XP digital scale. It's accurate - but not consistent, and needs to be re-zeroed after every few minutes while in use - even after following all the advice I was given both here and elsewhere. I've gotten into the habit of keeping a check weight on the scale to verify that it's going to give me the correct powder weight.

RCBS ChargeMaster combo + a voltage regulator.

I've left it on all day after zeroing, with overhead fluorescent shop lights turned on, and the 2 check weights always read their exact weight when re_checked, never even a tenth off.

My only complaint is that it occasionally over-throws a charge and I have to dump it and hit the button again. I'd say that happens 1 out of every 15 times on average (with Ramshot TAC -- a ball powder).
