The pattern opens up a hell of a lot at 3 yards.........wouldn't want to be any closer than that with some of the rattlers up here and i'm not sure one shot with that pattern would put 'em down.....probably just piss 'em off more!!!sigpic

I did not see him mention applying pressure to the over powder wad. About 30 pounds pressure helps keep the shot pattern together for a greater distance --Comment

Keep in mind with out the plastic shot capsule the pattern opens up drastically. I normally use Speer plastic shot capsules. You can also load #1 buckshots (3 ea.) per shot capsule to make buckshot round in a .38spl or .357mag case.
Either way looks like a fun project to do.Comment
