    This work with 1919A4

I just bought this 1919A4 http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1459 and was wondering if this would work in it. http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....e50369b8930b4f

or will I have to use only commercial with it. Like the rest of these on the site.

I think it will work but I just want to double check. Better safe than sorry.

Was wondering about this surplus as well.

the linked .308 you listed is the wrong links. I have some of the right links I'll sell you cheap if you pm me. All of the other .308 should work fine. All though most people steer clear of the wolf stuff for their beltfeds.

If you read that carefully, you can't buy that stuff in the links in California. You have to pay $10 to have it de linked. So that stuff would work? I love cheap surplus but wasn't sure if that stuff would work or not. But thanks for the input.

I've used Wolf in my Swiss before, just curious but why not in the beltfeds? Just crappy rounds?

Also what linker do you guys recommend, to make the links? Links are reusable right? Do the links come apart after shooting? Like you need to re link them?

I found out today why not to use Wolf. Had a guy selling it explain to me how awful it is, go figure lol. Also hows its not actually made by Wolf, they just sell it in there box. Sorry for triple post but didn't really get a clear answer.

I have the usgi links for sale cheap if you want them. Beltfeds tend to use lots of ammo so you might want to get started reloading......... Ask me how I know

And yes the best place to go for lots of info is www.1919a4.com. You absolutely need to read this guide on headspacing before you get going.

My 1919 likes surplus military ammo. Commercial ammo, not so much.

I tried signing up on that 1919 forum and I can't, keep getting errors and I've sent them like 10 emails about signing up.

Ok so I can order that ammo. I read tons of stuff about the headspace, and thanks.

I also do plan to do the reloading, just that surplus mostly can not be reloaded because of the primer.

Thanks for all the info guys/gals.

USGI links won't work for .308 they are for 30.06, you need IZZY links.

That ammo from J&G will be fine, have shot a bunch of it. Just need izzy links. Milsurp ammo is the best way to go with the 1919, some times the new mfg. ammo is the wrong OAL.

If your trying to log into the 1919A4 they are particular with the e-mails, might try a different e-mail.

I tried using quite a few different emails. I'll try again. Will the ammo from Ammunition to Go work as well? I think its the same stuff.

Thanks for telling me, I need to buy alot of it! haha.
