Define match grade. My reloads - counting how times I can reuse brass/trimming comes out slightly higher than that.

box of 100 168gr SMK's run about $22... BR primers about 0.04 a primer (with the cost of $40 for 1K primers). Powder using Varget and a load of 40.0gr (good to go out to 300yds) and a 1lb can of Varget about $25. 40.0gr would run approx. $0.14 - $0.15

primer 0.04
powder 0.15

total 0.41 for 'match grade'

now buying all these components in bulk will lower your costs at least by $0.16

The M14 guys all seem to prefer the surplus from NATO countries as they say it is reliable and won't harm the rifle like Wolf, Silver Bear, etc...

There's some Pakistani on that page for 39 cents a round. I've heard a lot of folks like it for plinking.

TDS in loomis has some new brass .308 ammo I believe under .60. I think it was like .55 a rnd by the case. It is MKE.

the $22 for the 100 bullets and $25 for powder and $40 for primers are average SF Bay Area gunshop prices. when I mention buying bulk quantities, I buy power by the case (6 8lb jugs) bullets by the 2-3K count and primers by several cases (case is 5K count)

Maybe 5 years ago but even online you cant find these prices. Add shipping, hazmat and or tax and there is now way you get it this cheap. 22 for SMK 30 cal 155 or 168 where?
