$40 more and you might as well get a 550b, Just use the .40cal dies you already have.

In the past I have picked up a couple of SD's in the $200.00 range and they have served me well. If you have the spare bench space it is nice to be able to leave one set up in your favorite caliber. I have one in 38/357 and one in 45, the rest of my loading goes on with my 550 where I swap calibers around as needed.

        +1

Pass of the Sd and get a 550B. Use your own dies and the SD is too short for many rifle rounds. If you are going to put your money into a Dillion might as well get a Dillion that will reload almost everything.
