Reloading with Berry 38 sp bullets: Questions

I have some Berry 38 sp bullets they are 125 grain electroplated hollow
    points.

I've read that I should reduce charge by 10% using tables that deal with jacketed bullets.

My manuals show the following for 125g hollow points:

    Speer 1981
jacketed hollow point with lead exposed on front of bullet
    5.1 +P to 4.4 Bullseye

    Sierra 1989
Jacketed hollow core (JHC), lead exposed on front of bullet
    5.1 +P to 4.6

    Hornady 1991
    HP/XTP
    4 to 4.3 +P and 4.5 +P Bullseye

I could not find lead bullets like the Berry bullets I have to compare data.

    Questions:
Anyone have any reference for lead bullet like Berry I'm using?

Does 4 grains of Bullseye sound like a good starting load?

    Any other suggestions welcome.

    Edited:

I might also add I bought the Lee crimp die for 38 sp so I will be using that instead of the roll crimp die.

I have used the Berry 9mm, and found that if I use the starting load for lead bullets and work up from there it works great!

there site says to load between lead and jacketed.

I load exclusively Berrys and Rainers for .38 spl and .357 mag practice rounds. I just use the minimum listed powder charge in my my Speer #13 manual (1998 printing) then work up from there. I've also loaded up to +P+ level for the .38 spl with same bullets. I have a GP-100. I use Win 231 and Unique. Both are good powder for the .38 spl and .357 mag from my experience.
