Has anyone ahd problems with PMC in .223?

No, great ammo. At Sac gun show was selling for $299 per 1000 good deal.
I will only use this for my short range match ammo now.If you can't shoot good, at least look good shootingComment

Ok maybe my AR was dirty. I was in Arizona for Thanksgiving an was running some Remington reloads, 30 as fast as I could. nope works great and reloads ok
odd depending on when i by it they are crimped pockets but sometimes i get a box thats notComment

A friend of mine had a problem at the range using it although I didn't. We think the problem was, that he was shooting Wolf .223 (steel case) 1st. then when it was gone he used my PMC Bronze. About every 3 rd round would jamb. I have had no problems in 1 1/2 yrs. using it in a bolt or auto loader. I only use Brass cased ammo though. Not sure if it was caused by using steel before brass, but he hasn't had a problem since he stopped using Wolf ammo.-------------------------------------------Comment

some think that the jamming and FTE a lot of times is caused by the switch between brass/steel casings in the same session before cleaning out the chamber.

I've shot tons of it and reloaded the cases. No problems unless the bolt was dry. If you rapid fire 300 or so rnds in an AR and don't lube it. It will jam with any ammo.Last edited by diginit; 01-03-2010, 9:38 PM.Comment
