    Worth Working Up 9mm Load?

Is there much/any value to working up an accuracy load for 9mm?

Should I just pick a midrange load and load some to make sure they function?

How dramatically awful can accuracy be if I pick an out of phase node?

    I'm using 9mm 115 gr fmj with HS-6.

I shoot a Glock 19 and a Kahr PM9. I am not the most accurate shooter. I'd say about grapefruit (with Blazer Brass) at 15 yds with the Glock. I'm kind of thinking that my shooting skill isn't good enough to see any benefit to working up an accuracy load. I shoot mainly to maintain my handgun shooting proficiency.

I've been reloading rifle and definitely see the value of working up a load for longer range shooting to improve accuracy.

    Thoughts?

    Value is subjective.
I worked up a receipe for my .45 for accuracy/speed/recoil/recovery time in mind.
For my G34 I just picked up, I loaded 300 rounds of 124gr fp's with 4gr of 231. If I get around to it I will play around a bit with the charge weight to get a nice light recoil.

If you buy in bulk, it may not be worth it. I have not done the cost comparison but to me it takes a lot of time reloading 9mm vs how cheap you can buy it. When I shoot 9mm, I go through a lot of it. I reserve my reloading time for centerfire rifle as that usually costs more.
